Product presentation: Dispenser for adhesive tapes for the SmartRack®.
We are constantly expanding our catalogue and developing further modules for our SmartRack®. For example, an adhesive tape dispenser for adhesive tape rolls of various sizes will be available from spring 2023. The dispenser for adhesive tape or labelling tape was developed to hold up to 6 rolls with a core hole diameter of approx. 25 mm (1 inch) or approx. 76 mm (3 inches) with a total width of up to 160 mm. It is made of powder-coated steel, polyamide 12 and stainless steel. The serrated cutting device for easy cutting of the adhesive tape or labelling tape facilitates one-handed handling in the laboratory and clean cutting. The dispenser for adhesive tape or labelling tape is light and easy to clean. The scope of delivery includes two 2 cores for holding rolls with a core hole diameter of approx. 25 mm (1 inch) or approx. 76 mm (3 inches).
Product presentation: Dispenser for Pasteur pipettes made of glass for the SmartRack®
We are constantly expanding our catalogue and developing further modules for our SmartRack®. For example, a dispenser for glass Pasteur pipettes will be available from spring 2023. The dispenser for glass Pasteur pipettes is made of aluminium as well as polyamide 12 and polypropylene, has a fill level indicator on the front and holds up to 300 unpacked Pasteur pipettes with a length of 230 mm (module 01170) and a length of 150 mm (module 01169). The dispenser is easy to clean and offers the possibility of hygienic storage and individual removal of the Pasteur pipettes from the dispenser. Filling is done via a hinged lid.
Product presentation: Dispenser for Parafilm® for the SmartRack®.
We are constantly expanding our catalogue and developing further modules for our SmartRack®. For example, a dispenser for Parafilm® will be available from spring 2023. The dispenser for Parafilm® is designed to hold two standard rolls (50 mm) or one double roll (100 mm). It is made of aluminum and polyamide 12 and offers the possibility of clean and safe storage as well as easy removal of Parafilm® sealing film.

Product update of the SmartRack® – new handles for our slide rails
Many components of the SmartRack® are manufactured using the SLS 3D printing process, which enables us at Better Basics Laborbedarf to respond quickly and flexibly to changing requirements and to offer optimal solutions. The need to equip our slide rails with an even more ergonomic grip arose from the demand for new modules from our customers.
Special project in SLA printing process in layer thickness 0.05 mm
A special project for a long-standing client was completed these days. Produced in the SLA printing process (stereolithography), this form of 3D printing allows the reproduction of very fine structures. Here compared to a 1 Euro coin. SLA printing processes are suitable for products with the highest precision and very sharp reproduction of details as well as a very smooth surface.
ISRANALYTICA 2023: The SmartRack® at the leading trade fair for the fields of chemistry and science in Israel.
After a two-year break, ISRANALYTICA 2023 started as the 24th fair of its kind in Tel Aviv, Israel, from 17 to 18 January 2023. The SmartRack® was received with great enthusiasm as the world’s first laboratory organisation system. Numerous presentations to interested parties and product demonstrations seconded the trip, which can already be considered a remarkable success.
Preview: Starting in 2023, Better Basics Laborbedarf will offer new and optimal solutions in the form of seven pre-configured SmartRack® for a wide range of application areas.
In addition to the starter sets for the fields of biology and chemistry, configurations for the fields of life science and pipetting tasks will also be available. The pre-configured SmartRack® will be supplemented by a series of new modules that will help to further optimise the work in everyday laboratory routine.

Better Basics Laborbedarf joined its newly appointed distributor for the Middle East Meslo from the 24th of October to the 26th of October at ARAB LAB 2022 in Dubai.
The Trade Show hosted over 1,000 exhibitors displaying cutting-edge laboratory and analytical instruments, quality control tools as well as nanotechnologies and robotics. Over 10,000 visitors as well as buyers from over 100 countries attend the show.
