SmartFrame for BERNER safety cabinets
SmartFrame mini BE 001
The SmartFrame classic mini BE 001 is designed for use in laboratory safety cabinets. It consists of an aluminium frame with a black epoxy-polyester-based powder coating. The SmartFrame is mounted to the side wall of the laboratory safety cabinet using the separately available wall mounting for SmartRack®/SmartFrame classic or primus mini (Part No. 01617). In the case of an upgrade, the necessary replacement of the side panel of the safety cabinet will be carried out by the manufacturer. In the case of a new order, the modified side panel will be installed at the factory. Every third slot rail holder on both sides of SmartFrame classic mini has a recess at the front to make it easier to align the slot rails horizontally. All SmartRack® modules are fully compatible with SmartFrame. The SmartFrame classic mini consists of the following components
- 1 x frame
- 3 x slot rails with handles
Note: The wall mounting for SmartRack®/SmartFrame classic or primus mini, which is necessary for use, must be ordered separately (Part No. 01617).

SmartEdge for BERNER safety cabinets
SmartEdge BE 001
The SmartEdge elite BE 001 is designed for use in laboratory safety cabinets. It consists of two stainless steel L-profiles. The anodised aluminium slot rails are hooked into these L-profiles. In the case of an upgrade, the necessary replacement of the side panel of the safety cabinet will be carried out by the manufacturer. In the case of a new order, the modified side panel will be installed at the factory. To make it easier to align the slot rails horizontally, every third slot rail bracket on either side of the SmartEdge elite has a recess at the front. All SmartRack® modules are fully compatible with SmartEdge. The SmartEdge elite is made up of the following components
- 2 x stainless steel L-profiles
- 3 x mini slot rails, each with two side handles
- 8 x glass feed-through sleeve segments
- 4 x sets of mounting materials (consisting of screws, washers, and nuts) for installation

SmartRail for BERNER safety cabinets
SmartRail BE 001
The SmartRail BE 001 has been developed for use in the laboratory safety cabinet. It consists of two stainless steel slot rail carriers that are attached to the side panels of the laboratory safety cabinet using screws. The six anodised aluminium slot rails are firmly connected to the two slot rail carriers. In the case of an upgrade, the necessary replacement of the side panel of the safety cabinet will be carried out by the manufacturer. In the case of a new order, the modified side panel will be installed at the factory. In the slot rails, each with a width of 380 mm, all modules of the SmartRack® product family can be freely placed.
The SmartRail BE 001 includes the following components:
- 2 x stainless steel slot rail carriers
- 6 x permanently installed slot rails
- 8 x glass feedthrough sleeve segments
- 4 x sets of mounting materials (consisting of screws, washers, and nuts) for installation
